Senior year is such an exciting time, and capturing that milestone with photos that reflect who you are is something I always look forward to. Recently I photographed Shawn, a senior from Leicester High School, for his senior session in Central Massachusetts.
For the first part of Shawn’s session, we started right where so many memories were made — Leicester High School. Photographing seniors at their high school is always meaningful because it represents such a huge chapter of their life.
After capturing some photos around Leicester High School, we headed to a beautiful park in Spencer, Massachusetts for the second half of the session.
The natural setting gave us the perfect contrast to the school location, allowing for a mix of classic portraits and relaxed outdoor images.
One of my goals during every senior session is to create an experience that feels easy and fun. Most seniors start the session a little unsure about posing, but with some guidance and a relaxed atmosphere, they quickly become comfortable in front of the camera.
Shawn did an amazing job during his session, and it was such a great way to capture this exciting milestone before graduation and I look forward to seeing him again for his Cap and Gown Session!!
